About Mediteq
Mediteq was founded in 2007 by Helen Sandelin and has developed into a consultancy firm with big ambitions. Helen Sandelin’s work with medical technology and IT systems began as early as 1995, which provides a solid foundation for Mediteq and our future development.
Our client ranage includes global corporations, small and medium-sized companies, academy, innovative start-ups as well as healthcare organisations. Mediteq hosts the knowledge network Mediteq Forum, where members meet and get updated on news and learn from each other.
All businesses have different needs at different times, depending on the organization’s size, quality maturity, and the type of medical devicies they handle. The path to knowledge and good work practices is often fraught with tricky questions and many standards and regulations to adhere to. By hiring Mediteq you gain access to extensive experience in developing technical documentation and implementing tailored procedures.
Mediteq participates in standardization work in several Swedish technical committees.
IEC TK 62 – Electrical medical equipment
ISO TK 355 – Quality management systems for medical devices
ISO TK 334 – Health informatics
We participate in standardization not only to create new standards but also to develop our competence, expand our network, and stay up-to-date on upcoming changes and new standards.
Mediteq is also a member of MEDEA, an industry organization for consultants in medical technology.
Mediteq has worked with the following products, among others:
- ECG and patient monitoring
- EHR – Electronic health record systems
- Ventilators
- Sterile products, such as wound care products
- Hospital beds
- Communication and alarm systems
- Products for IVF
- Implants
- Several types of analytical software, including in vitro diagnostics
- IVD kits, including for cancer diagnostics
